Reverend Martin Furrow
Reverend Martin Furrow is the pastor of the Preston Wesleyan Church. Pastor Marty Furrow and wife Iris have most recently been serving at the Bramwell Wesleyan Church in Bramwell, West Virginia. Pastor Furrow was ordained July 17, 1989 in the Old Delmarva District which is now the Chesapeake District of the Wesleyan Church.
Pastor Marty had been working for Dupont for 11 years when he left to follow God's call. At the age of 30, they quit their jobs and went to Allentown, Pennsylvania to UWC to study for the ministry. He has ministered for the Wesleyan Church for the past 22 years. He has won souls for the Lord, spent many hours visiting in the hospitals, traveled many miles to visit and go wherever he has been needed. His greatest accomplishment has been to be able to serve God's wonderful people.
Pastor Marty and Iris love serving the Lord and trying new things to help the church grow. Iris loves to work with the children and the ladies of the church. She believes everything living needs to be fed, hugged, and loved. (Iris comes from a large family) They are willing to work hard and do all they can for the Lord. They never ask anyone to do anything that they are not willing to do themselves. They are always there for our people day or night-all we have to do is call.
